My name is Nellie Marootian, and I am a founding member of Mr. Marootian’s legal team. I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.A in English-Communication and a minor in Theatre in 1987. I also received my paralegal certification from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1992, where I graduated number one in my class with honors. Since receiving my paralegal certification, Gregg and I have worked tirelessly to not only build our practice but provide competent and compassionate services. As DWI specialists, we understand the importance of gathering relevant information and preparing the best possible defense while honoring our core values. We pride ourselves on working without judgment and with understanding as to how being arrested for any offense can alter someone’s life, family, livelihood, and relationships. Before receiving my paralegal certification, I worked in news media as a production assistant with WPIX News 9 (best known as channel 11 news) and with NBC News on the assignment desk. I had the opportunity to work with news teams and anchors such as Chuck Scarborough and Sue Simmons, gathering information on stories and experiencing how the news is gathered and streamed to the public. Although I would eventually pursue paralegal studies, I learned invaluable research, communication, multi-tasking, and administrative skills that help me in my career as a paralegal. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters, and best furry friend, Flora Rose.
