Greggory M. Marootian, Esq. is a New Jersey Trial Attorney, who concentrates on New Jersey DWI Defense throughout New Jersey. Mr. Marootian is not a general practitioner, not a proverbial “jack of all trades” - he does not handle real estate closings, injury cases, wills, murder cases, etc.  His practice focus is the defense of DWI charges and Traffic Tickets throughout New Jersey.

Mr. Marootian received his B.A. in 1987 from Fairleigh Dickinson University (Magna Cum Laude). In 1986, as an Undergraduate, Mr. Marootian attended Harvard University (Summer Program) in Cambridge Massachusetts where he studied the Interaction between Law & Psychology.  He received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree in 1990 from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Mr. Marootian is a former member of the National College for DUI Defense. He is National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Trained in DWI Detection and the Administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the same training given to many police officers in New Jersey. He received training in the administration of the breath testing machines used in New Jersey. Mr. Marootian has written scholarly articles on defending the New Jersey DWI charge for New Jersey Lawyers and is regarded as a leading DWI Defense Lawyer in New Jersey.

New Jersey DWI Defense has become extremely complex, and the consequences of a DWI conviction in New Jersey are severe.  The legal landscape is, sadly, cluttered with DWI cases that are mishandled by attorneys who lack experience properly defending DWI charges and do not have the proper knowledge of New Jersey DWI laws. See Tips on  Hiring a Lawyer for Your New Jersey DWI Case

While no ethical attorney can guarantee or predict results, Mr. Marootian can assure that each case will be thoroughly and painstakingly reviewed for possible defenses and that the State will be placed to their ultimate burden of proving your guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Mr. Marootian is an aggressive, experienced, and competent advocate who can assure that you are afforded a zealous and professional defense of your New Jersey DWI charge (see Article: Why Zealous Defense of New Jersey DWI Charges is Important).
