Greggory M. Marootian, Esq. is a New Jersey Trial Attorney who concentrates on New Jersey DWI Defense and DWI Appeals throughout New Jersey. Mr. Marootian received his B.A. (Psychology) in 1987 from Fairleigh Dickinson University (Magna Cum Laude) where he was a member of the National Honor Society in Psychology. In 1986, as an Undergraduate, Mr. Marootian attended Harvard University (Summer Program) in Cambridge Massachusetts where he studied the Interaction between Law & Psychology. He received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree in 1990 from Seton Hall University School of Law.
Mr. Marootian is National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) trained in DWI Detection and the Administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the same training given to many police officers in New Jersey. He has received training in the administration of the breath testing machines used in New Jersey (“Breathalyzer” and “Alcotest”). He recently (2009) received Factory Training and Certification (in the operation of the Alcotest® 7110 MKIII-C) from manufacturer, Draeger Safety Inc. Mr. Marootian has written scholarly articles on defending the New Jersey DWI charge for New Jersey Lawyers, and is frequently consulted by other lawyers and the press regarding NJ DWI defense. He lectures in the area of New Jersey DWI Defense to New Jersey Lawyers. He has tried from start to verdict (and appealed) hundreds of DWI cases and is regarded as a leading expert DWI Defense Lawyer in New Jersey.
